Event Details
Last spring, on the 15th of May, the Moon gradually transformed into an eerie glowing globe that resembled a Japanese Lantern hanging in the sky. An eclipse of the Moon is a dramatic natural event which has been described in records going back for centuries in many civilizations. Accurate prediction could then command power and prestige. If you missed out on the Moon show earlier this year, you’re going to get a second chance! Early on Election Day morning, Tuesday, November 8th, the second Total Eclipse of the Moon of 2022 will take place. Here in the Northeast US, during the dawn hours, the Full Moon will descend the western sky and pull a fade-out as it becomes immersed into the Earth’s shadow.
In this virtual presentation we’ll provide all the details on how to best prepare for this remarkable celestial sight, as well as talk about the eclipses of the Sun that we’ll be able to see in 2023 and 2024. Registration required here
