Get ready Westchester for a once in a lifetime living history extravaganza coming to New Rochelle, NY. Celebrating the Bicentennial visit of Revolutionary War Hero, General Lafayette to New Rochelle. Hosted by Huguenot & New Rochelle Historical Association and New Rochelle Public Library.

Experience life back in 1824,  with 18th and 19th century reenactors, a 19-gun salute, blacksmith, baker, children’s toys, music and more!

 
• Storyteller extraordinaire , Jonathan Kruk will perform
• Students of Songcatchers perform patriotic songs.
• Weather permitting, a large petting zoo.
• Free children’s arts & crafts and
• The man of the hour, Marquis de Lafayette and so much more! 

Please note, the Library is closed on Sundays in the summer. However, the lobby and Lumen Winter Gallery will be open in order for members of the public to view a Lafayette exhibit on display.
