Event Details

Any person who pays property taxes can grieve an assessment to potentially lower their tax bill, including:

  • property owners
  • purchasers
  • tenants who are required to pay property taxes pursuant to a lease or written agreement

There is no cost to grieve an assessment, and it does not require you to hire a lawyer.  Come join us for an informational presentation and learn how to do it yourself.

 

Presented by Ginna Currie, a NY State certified general appraiser since 2005 and active member of the Appraisal Institute. Ginna has lived in New Rochelle since 2009 and currently works as the assistant assessor for the City of Rye.
