In honor of Asian American Pacific Islander month, New Rochelle librarian and film historian Chris Poggiali will introduce and discuss the film SEARCHING (2018) starring John Cho, Michelle La, Debra Messing; Directed by Aneesh Chaganty - 102 minutes

After his teenage daughter goes missing, David Kim (John Cho) decides to search her laptop for clues in an effort to trace her digital footprints before she disappears forever.  Set entirely on computer screens and smartphones, this was the first mainstream Hollywood thriller to headline an Asian-American actor.
