Teen Summer Reading 2022

Summer Reading Kickoff: Saturday, June 25, 10 am - 12 pm
Registration begins Monday, June 27 @ 2nd floor reference desk (Main Library)
Open to teens (Grades 6 - 12) living in New Rochelle. Beat the summer blues by joining this year's Teen Summer Reading program! Read, complete missions, and win prizes.* The first 15 registrants will receive a free bag with goodies and two books of their choice!
Join us for the Summer Reading Kickoff on Saturday, June 25, 10 am - 12 pm at the Library Green entrance. Teens can craft a thrilling paper plate shark jaw to start the summer.
Registration begins Monday, June 27 at the 2nd floor reference desk or register online at nrplny12.readsquared.com beginning Monday, July 11!
* Prizes include free books, themed "Oceans of Possibilities" items (including a squid hat!!), and tickets with a chance to win a grand prize basket at the end of the program. The winner of the grand prize basket will be announced and contacted after Monday, August 29. Good luck to all participants!
Teen Summer Reading Programs
Start your summer with a hydrating water balloon fight and an infused drink class. Then come in and enjoy a STEAM-filled summer of coding, building, and digital drawing classes. Programs are held Fridays, 3 pm - 5 pm in the Teen Room unless otherwise specified. Registration required for coding and digital drawing classes. See you there!
