Calpulli Mexican Dance Company will present excerpts from Puebla: The Story of Cinco de Mayo featuring songs, dances and stories. The Calpulli Dancers will explain imagery, culture and rhythms throughout the program as well as the history of Cinco de Mayo.
The presentation of Calpulli Mexican Dance Company's Puelba: The Story of Cinco de Mayo was made possible by the New England Foundation for the Arts' National Dance Project, with lead funding from the Doris Duke Foundation and the Mellon Foundation.
