ArtsFest 2023: Crystalline Chamber Collective

Young Musicians of Westchester presents Crystalline Chamber Collective, an exciting new ensemble from New York City.  Violist Laura Sacks and pianist Steven Beck will play music by great women composers: Clara Schumann, Amy Beach, Rebecca Clarke, and Joan Tower!  

Laura Sacks enjoys a multifaceted career as a violist, performing in venues including Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, and the Beacon Theater. Performance highlights include playing alongside Glenn Dicterow at Carnegie Hall and with The Eagles.

Pianist Steven Beck has performed with the New York Philharmonic, The Knights, Orpheus and works with many contemporary composers.  Steven has played previously at ArtsFest and has reprised his annual Christmas Eve performance of Bach’s Goldberg Variations at Bargemusic, the Brooklyn-based venue that has become a New York institution.
