A beloved doctor had been practicing in a small New England town for decades when it is revealed that he and his wife have been hiding their racial identity. Based on a true story, this groundbreaking, documentary-style film confronts the reactions of the townspeople, their friends and patients, and, most of all, their son and daughter, when this truth is made known.
