Experience a vibrant afternoon of music with clarinetist Anoush Pogossian, violinist Sahana Shravan, and pianist Lucas Amory. This Juilliard-trained trio will perform new works and fresh arrangements of Armenian folk songs, blending virtuosity with rich cultural tradition. Presented in partnership with Young Musicians of Westchester. Registration is requested. 

About the Performers:  Anoush Pogossian has been featured on WQXR’s Young Artist Showcase and is a US Presidential Scholar in the Arts. She is starting her Artist Diploma under the tutelage of Anthony McGill and Alan Kay, having completed degrees both at Juilliard and Columbia University.  Violinist Sahana Shravan completed her degree in Violin Performance at Juilliard, has performed under the baton of Michael Tilson Thomas with the New World Orchestra, and performed at music festivals including Yellowbarn, Killington, Chelsea and the National Arts Diversity Integration Association.  Pianist and conductor Lucas Amory is a graduate student at Juilliard in Piano Performance. Lucas recently graduated with degrees in German and Music from Harvard while also studying at the New England Conservatory. He’s won prizes at several competitions and has performed at 92Y, Carnegie and Alice Tully Halls. Anoush, Sahana and Lucas are coached as a trio by Orli Shaham, a distinguished pianist and educator.
